Available: Stumbling Toward Victory: Living in Defiance of Parkinson’s Disease

My new book, Stumbling Toward Victory, is available on Amazon CreateSpace at https://www.createspace.com/6237651 today.  In about 5 days, it will be listed on Amazon.com (the US and European sites), and on Amazon.com partner sites, bookstores, and online resellers in about 6-8 weeks.  It may also soon be available at a library or fine institution of higher learning near you, so keep an eye out.

It will also be available in eBook form on the Amazon Kindle store as soon as I can work through the process.

Once again, thank you to all of you who have encouraged my clumsy attempts at writing. Many thanks also to those who have suffered through chapter readings, arguments over the Harvard comma and the role of the semicolon in modern society, and three-page long sentences.  Ernest Hemingway I’m not.

Again, I’ll ask for your help – if you like the book, either post a short (or long) review, or send me a comment or two and I’ll create a page on my blog for your comments.  If you don’t like it, you’re free to say that too (no name-calling – this is a family blog), but also tell me why not, and I’ll learn from your constructive criticism. And if you know someone who might be able to benefit from it, please let them know.

  1. By the way, you’re a writer. You’re also an engineer, which may explain why you’re so block-headed that you think you’re not REALLY a writer. But you are. Maybe you’ve been a writer for a long time, or maybe it has evolved gradually over time. I don’t know, but I do know you’re a very good writer now. Having gone to a liberal arts college where we were forbidden to use the word “engineer,” I’ve known a few writers, and you’re one of the best I’ve ever read. Got it?
