Postage and Delivery

• Please read these terms prior to purchasing so that you understand our trade policies.
• All prices quoted through-out The Crooked Path website are in Australian Dollars
• Every order receives our prompt attention.
• The shipping costs quoted here are for Australia only, if you are an international customer, please email us for a shipping quote prior to making payment.
• All Australian orders are sent via Australia Post and international orders are sent via the best price possible.
• Insurance is available on request. 
• If you have any further queries or require clarification, please feel free to email us.
• Unless an item is currently in stock, allow up to 28 days for delivery from date of order payment.
• Store pickup is an option, however, you must still allow time for the order to arrive with us this can take up to 21 days, we will notify you when your order is received to organise a pick up time

We primarily use three shipping amounts Australia-wide using Australia Post (no couriers – sorry!)
* Per item of = $4.50 (providing it is under 250g) or
* Flat rate of $15.00 for packages up to 3kg  and
* As per emailed quote for packages over 3kg

Registered Australian Mail is available (and recommended...additional $3.00 for the first $100.00 and an extra $1.40 for each additional $100.00...this means that an item valued at $175.00 will attract a registered mail cost of $4.40.) and will be used upon request.

Australia EXPRESS Satchels can also be used if requested, for a couple of dollars extra but please know that even though they say they are guaranteed next day delivery, this is not always the case – particularly if you live in rural Australia (as stated in the fine print on the back of the satchel). It is really only capital city to capital city (guaranteed) next day service and while The Crooked Path is in a major country town, (city of Greater Bendigo, Victoria), we are not located in a capital city.  That being said, it is still the fastest method of shipping available, so if you need your item in a hurry, this may be the best choice for you. If your purchase doesn’t fit in the satchel, standard Express can be used.

Even though we take the utmost care with packaging, we take no responsibility for transit, so you are well advised to register the mail article.  This is solely your responsibility if you choose not to take this insurance, so please do not come back to us and claim that you either didn't receive your parcel or that it was broken - this is what Insurance is for.

Here at The Crooked Path we worry about the environmental impact of the discarded packaging, and for this reason, we reuse where ever possible; packing peanuts, bubble wrap, and boxes, so that we may reduce our carbon footprint left behind long after we have enjoyed the contents of our package.
