This fabulous censer bowl has a socket to hold a candle - useful for lighting your smudge bundle and also adds a lovely ambience to the occassion. The bowl can be filled with sand which is a safe way of extinguishing the bundle once the smudging is complete. The bowl is made in a natural earth colour (terracotta), glazed on the inside only, with Eartharomas and the four cardinal directions (medicine wheel) etched into a violet coloured band on the inside rim.
